Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Welcome to Thinking Tools.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Thinking Tools platform, including Free tools, Premium tools, user accounts, subscriptions, and other available features.

By accessing, registering for, or using Thinking Tools, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the platform.

1. About Thinking Tools

Thinking Tools is a digital platform that provides guided tools using sequences of questions designed to help users organize their thoughts, analyze situations, reflect, and make decisions with greater clarity.

The tools are intended to support thinking and reflection.

Thinking Tools does not make decisions for the user.

2. Not Professional Advice

Thinking Tools does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.

The platform and its tools are provided for informational, educational, and personal reflection purposes.

Thinking Tools should not be used as a substitute for qualified professional advice when professional assistance is appropriate.

The Analysis section uses an automated artificial intelligence system to identify themes and patterns from the reflections saved by the user. Its results are generated automatically, may contain errors, omissions, or incorrect interpretations, and do not constitute diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

3. Free Tools

Thinking Tools may provide certain tools free of charge.

Tools identified as:

Free

may be used without a Premium subscription.

Thinking Tools reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue Free tools in the future.

Where reasonably possible, changes will not affect access already granted to content saved by the user.

4. Premium Tools

Some Thinking Tools may be identified as:

Premium

Visitors may view general information about Premium tools, including their name, description, purpose, and category.

To begin using a Premium tool, the user must:

  • have an account,
  • be logged in,
  • maintain an active Premium subscription.

A Premium subscription provides access to the Premium tools available while the subscription remains active.

5. User Accounts

Certain features require a user account.

Users agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of their login credentials.

Users are responsible for activity performed through their accounts.

You must not share your credentials or allow unauthorized use of your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us.

6. Saved Reflections

Registered users may be able to save reflections and responses created while using Thinking Tools.

Users remain responsible for the content they write.

Thinking Tools does not acquire ownership of a user's personal reflections merely because they are stored on the platform.

Users must not use the platform to store illegal, abusive, or infringing content.

7. Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the price and billing period displayed on the Pricing page at the time of purchase.

Thinking Tools may currently offer a monthly subscription.

By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until the subscription is canceled.

Prices may change in the future.

If a price change affects an existing subscription, we will seek to provide notice before the new price takes effect.

8. Automatic Renewal

Premium subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the next renewal.

Users may manage or cancel their subscription through their account or the applicable payment provider.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time.

After cancellation, Premium access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period unless otherwise stated during cancellation.

After the paid period ends, the account will return to the Free level.

10. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Thinking Tools may not directly store complete credit or debit card information.

Payment processing may also be subject to the terms and policies of the applicable payment provider.

11. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, payments for subscription periods that have already begun may be non-refundable.

Any specific refund policy shown during checkout will form part of the terms applicable to that transaction.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support.

See our Refund Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

Thinking Tools, its methodology, structure, text, design, questions, tools, tool names, and other platform materials may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Access to the platform does not transfer ownership of these materials to the user.

Users may use Thinking Tools for personal or internal use as permitted under these terms.

Without prior written permission, users may not:

  • substantially copy or reproduce the tools,
  • redistribute them,
  • sell them,
  • present them as their own,
  • create derivative products that substantially reproduce protected structures,
  • systematically scrape content,
  • attempt to extract or copy the platform's database or content.

13. Acceptable Use

Users agree to use Thinking Tools legally and responsibly.

Users may not:

  • attempt to access another person's account,
  • bypass Premium restrictions,
  • manipulate the payment system,
  • interfere with platform operation,
  • introduce malicious code,
  • attack the infrastructure,
  • use automation to extract content at scale,
  • use the platform for unlawful activities.

14. Service Availability

We seek to keep Thinking Tools available and functioning properly.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other circumstances.

15. Changes to the Tools

Thinking Tools may update the design, functionality, content, or availability of its tools.

We may also introduce new tools, categories, or features.

Changes may be made to improve the platform, fix errors, maintain security, or develop new functionality.

16. Limitation of Liability

Thinking Tools provides tools intended to support the user's reflection process.

Decisions made after using a tool remain the responsibility of the user.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Thinking Tools will not be liable for losses or damages resulting solely from decisions made by users based on their own answers, interpretations, or conclusions while using the platform.

The content shown in the Analysis section is generated automatically by an artificial intelligence system. Thinking Tools does not create, review, or guarantee that content, and is not responsible for it or for decisions the user makes based on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account when there is a reasonable basis to believe that:

  • these terms have been violated,
  • fraud has occurred,
  • platform security is being threatened,
  • the platform is being used unlawfully or abusively,
  • a user is attempting to obtain unauthorized Premium access.

Where reasonably possible, information about the suspension or termination will be provided.

18. Privacy

Personal information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service when necessary.

The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.

When changes are significant, we may notify users through the platform, email, or another reasonable method.

Continued use of Thinking Tools after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, subject to applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Panama, except where mandatory laws applicable to the user provide otherwise.
